Waterjet Cutting
Cold-cut precision through steel, stone, glass, titanium, and composites — our in-house waterjet systems deliver intricate shapes and clean edges on materials that heat-based cutting cannot touch.
Steel · Stone · Glass · Titanium · Composites · Architectural Inlays — No Heat, No Distortion
No Heat. No Distortion. No Limits.
Waterjet cutting is the most versatile cutting process in precision fabrication. By combining ultra-high-pressure water with an abrasive garnet stream, our waterjet systems cut through virtually any material — thick or thin, hard or soft — without introducing heat, stress, or distortion into the workpiece. The result is a cut edge that is clean, precise, and ready for finishing with no secondary deburring or heat-affected zone.
From intricate stainless steel inlays and architectural stone panels to thick aluminum structural components and glass display elements, Vista Visual Group's waterjet department handles the cuts that other processes cannot — with the same in-house quality control and engineering support that defines everything we build.
Cold-Cut Precision
60,000 PSI
Cutting Pressure
Ultra-high-pressure water stream combined with abrasive garnet cuts through materials up to 6" thick with no heat, no stress, no distortion.
±0.003"
Dimensional Tolerance
Tight positional accuracy across complex geometry — critical for architectural inlays, multi-material assemblies, and precision display components.
Any Material
No Heat Limit
Waterjet cuts what laser and plasma cannot — stone, glass, titanium, composites, and thick metals — without altering the material's properties.
What We Cut
Metals — Steel, Aluminum & Titanium
Waterjet cutting of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and titanium up to several inches thick — with no heat-affected zone, no warping, and no metallurgical changes to the cut edge.
Stone, Tile & Marble
Precision cutting of granite, marble, travertine, porcelain tile, and engineered stone for architectural inlays, decorative panels, branded floor graphics, and custom millwork accents.
Glass & Ceramics
Clean, chip-free cutting of tempered glass, ceramic tile, and technical ceramics — materials that shatter under mechanical cutting and distort under laser heat — handled cleanly by waterjet.
Composites & Laminates
Cutting of carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, phenolic laminates, and honeycomb composites without delamination, fraying, or edge damage — critical for structural display components and specialty fabrication.
Thick Plastics & Acrylic
Waterjet cutting of thick acrylic, UHMW polyethylene, nylon, and engineering plastics where laser cutting would melt or discolor the edge — delivering a clean, stress-free cut face.
Architectural & Decorative Inlays
Multi-material inlay cutting — stone into stone, metal into wood, glass into metal — with the tight tolerances required for seamless, press-fit decorative installations in retail and architectural environments.

From Drawing to Delivered Part
01
Engineering & Nesting
We review your CAD files or drawings, optimize part nesting for material yield, and confirm tolerances and edge quality requirements before programming the cut path.
02
Material Inspection & Setup
Incoming material is inspected for flatness, thickness consistency, and surface quality. Sheets and slabs are registered and fixtured for repeatable, accurate positioning across every part.
03
Precision Waterjet Cutting
Parts are cut at up to 60,000 PSI with abrasive garnet. Cut speed, pressure, and abrasive flow are tuned for each material and thickness to deliver the cleanest possible edge finish.
04
Finishing & Delivery
Cut parts are cleaned, inspected, and passed to our in-house finishing department for polishing, painting, or assembly — then packaged and delivered to your job site or distribution center.
